Наоборот, по-моему: Допрос у двери ИЗ утробы

(crow = здесь еще и возможный каламбур, кроме "ворон" это значит "пение петуха" и - "крик младенца")

Чтобы проверить мое понимание этого текста, предпринял краткий поиск, вот что нашлось, сам поэт объясняет:
...But before it can get born, it has to go through all manner of adventures, which it goes through and, finally, it gets to the point of being born. Then, just before it can get born, there's an examination.
This is his examination at the womb door - and it's a sort of vocal examination...

...But this world he appears into is a world where everything is happening simultaneously, so the beginning and end are present, and all the episodes of all history are present, as in all the different rooms of a gigantic hotel. ..
