The river split the woody land
by portions. Steam-engine,
like razor gliding on the hand,
went cutting river's line.

Like water trying to escape
more water nearby,
from bridge you made that down-step,
my sweetheart enemy.

And iron bridge with iron heart
while sitting in the splits
looked at this, as René Descartes –
at coordinate axis.
